I gained a lot from this Program
This Program not only gave me chance to work in the US, enhance my English communicating skills and meet many new friends, it also enhanced my knowledge of the American culture. It gave me a chance to test and train myself to become more independent as well.

I came back home proud of being myself
Before I spent three months working and traveling in the United States, this country to me was nothing more than an impression of being vast, free and powerful. However, during my stay, not only have I seen and understood the ‘land of the free’ personally, but also have grown an emotional connection with it and its people that makes my journey surprisingly meaningful and memorable.
The three months I spent in the States could not have been a more perfect complement to my original repeating life, not only because I began the journey with much to expect and ended up experiencing a lot, but also because I came back home proud of being myself.

I bet this is the cheapest way to live and travel in USA
This Program is wonderful. Working there for two and a half months brought me a lot of things - memories, experiences, friendship, dreams… Working and living there allows me to understand more about other cultures – not only American, but also of other countries as students come from different places. Traveling afterward gives me a totally different feeling. I bet this is the cheapest way to live and travel in USA for such a long time.

I had the greatest summer in my life
I once asked myself, “What is the most important thing that I get here? Is it the chance to stay in an English speaking country? Working experience? Or is it the neat natural scenery?" Now, I got the answer. It is the friendship with a bunch of awesome people in America. Without them, I could not have the greatest summer in my life.

Yellowstone is just like my second home
I feel so lucky that I joined this Program and have the opportunity to go to Yellowstone National Park. WATUSA not just gives me a chance to work and travel in US, improve my English and becomes more mature and independent, but it also gives me an unforgettable summer. This summer is not about how much I’ve earned, but is about how much I’ve experienced.
It also let me make more friends, friends that come from all over the world, friends that will last for my whole life. Although I am now back to Hong Kong, I still miss them so much, Yellowstone is just like my second home.

Fulfilling three hopes by once!
Breathing in an extensive meadow, hiking over 10,000 feets, shopping in prosperous city...... Fulfilling three hopes by once! Hopefully I have joined the WATUSA program in 2006, otherwise I should have not seen those wild animals and special landscapes that I have never seen in Hong Kong and also lost a golden chance to make friends from different countries. I was really enjoy the great time in the U.S.!!!

I had a great summer holiday
In general the WATUSA program is a great opportunity for students from around the world to come together. I think the WATUSA program is more profound than any cultural exchange program I have ever come across.

Challenging summer
"How can you make your summer different?" There is no precise answer. You can learn something else through studying, you can play with your friends for the whole summer, or even you can just spend more time with your family. All those things can make you feel different; it doesn't need to be very special, but it depends on what aspects you are thinking of, or just to your heart. For me, I have chosen to have a special summer in the United States.

A chance for me to experience the real world
Working in America always seems to be no more than a dream to me. But this summer, I made things different. I still can't believe that I have been working and traveling in the States for three months! I feel so glad that I joined this program as my experience is incredible. You can never understand unless you have tried this out. I stop being narrow-minded and confining myself to Hong Kong only. I believe that I have spent my last summer holiday in a great way and I will definitely do it again if I get another chance in the future.

I was independence enough to travel alone
To me, one of the most fulfilling aspects of this Work and Travel program, apart from being able to travel to all those places in the US and have my horizon broadened, is to prove my capability of handling such a long trip, all by myself for most of the time. There were many happy moments in my trip, as well as unhappy ones, but everything contributed to the invaluable memories of my Work and Travel USA 2008 and I do treasure all of them!

I have made the right choice
Although I have some doubt about whether I should go to US this summer before departure, for the reason that I might have no time to be with my families and friends, now I would say, I have made the right choice as I did spend my summer in the States as well as I did experience and learn so much. It is the best summer ever!
